ANNOUNCEMENTS – Week of 11/07/2021

  1. 1. The Early Worship Service will begin at 8:30AM on Sunday 11/07.
  2. 2. Operation Christmas Child - This year we will be packing our own shoeboxes- just like we did last year. There are shoeboxes under the Operation Christmas child table or you can use your own shoeboxes. Please drop off your filled shoeboxes no later than Sunday, November 7th. Ideas on what to put in your shoe box are in the brochure which is on the table or you can look at the sample shoeboxes on the table.
  3. 3. The next Women's Bible Study will be Thursday, 11/11, here at the church at 10AM. Newcomers are welcome to join us as we study the glorious riches of God's grace that we have in Christ Jesus. Bring your Bible, a pencil and notebook. See Andie Batten if you have any questions.
  4. 4. We will have a guest preacher on Sunday 11/14. He is a Westminster Seminary Student named Bryan Selby.
  5. 5. The Westminster Confession of Faith discussion group will meet twice in November, 11/14 and 11/28. It will begin at 6:00 PM.
  6. 6. The Men’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, 11/20 at 8:30 AM. Men please read Chapter 12 of Disciplines of a Godly Man.
  7. 7. There will be a Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday 11/24 at 7:00 PM. Please plan on joining us for that special service.
  8. 8. The OPC Annual Thank Offering will be taken on Sunday 11/28/2021. This offering supports Christian Education, Home and Foreign Missions. More information will be sent out in a separate email. Giving Envelopes have been placed in each mailbox. As a reminder, the Offering Box is located at the back of the Auditorium.
  9. 9. Please put: Saturday, 12/18 on your calendar for the Ladies Craft Breakfast AND Sunday, 12/19 on your calendar for the Christmas Fellowship Dinner immediately after our Church Service.
