Opening Song – NTH 696 – Blessed Assurance

Gospel Greeting – To all the saints in Christ Jesus . . . with the overseers and deacons: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.          Phil. 1:1b-2

Call to Worship Hymn – O Come, Let Us Sing to the Lord

Call to Worship – Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice! Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!   Ps. 105:1-4

Prayer of Adoration & Invocation

Hymn of Praise – NTH 295 – Crown Him with Many Crowns

Reading of Law – A Summary of the Ten Commandments & Great Commandment

(Silent Confession of Sin)

Confession of Sin – Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us. But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to your promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous and sober life, to the glory of your holy name. Amen.

Declaration of Pardon – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.  John 3:16-18

Exhortation to Give – So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.           Gal. 6:10
