Mr. Mark Maloney, Jr. Exhorting

Opening Song – O How Good It Is

Gospel Greeting – To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.     Jude 1:1-2

Call to Worship Hymn – NTH 7 – From All That Dwell below the Skies

Call to Worship – Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  Psalm 100:1-3

Prayer of Adoration & Invocation

Hymn of Praise – NTH 347 – The Church’s One Foundation

Reading of the Law – Exodus 20:1-17

(Silent Confession of Sin)

General Confession of Sin – Have mercy on us, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out our transgressions. Wash us thoroughly from our iniquity and cleanse us from our sin. For we know our transgressions, and our sin is ever before us. Against you, you only, have we sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. Purge us with hyssop, and we shall be clean; wash us and we shall be whiter than snow. For you have promised, O Father, that if we confess our sins, you will be faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness – by the blood of your Son, Jesus. Restore to us the joy of your salvation by the power of your Holy Spirit.  And enable us, by your grace, to walk in the light of your Gospel, and to show fellow sinners the way of repentance; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon – Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Rom. 8:33-34

Exhortation to Give – Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.  2 Corinthians 9:7-8
