Corporate Confession of Sin –

Most holy and merciful Father, we acknowledge and confess before you our sinful nature – prone to evil and slothful in good – and all our shortcomings and offenses against you. You alone know how often we have sinned in wandering from your ways, in wasting your gifts, in forgetting your love. O Lord, have mercy on us, who are ashamed and sorry for all the ways we have displeased you. Teach us to hate our errors, cleanse us from our secret faults, and forgive our sins for the sake of your dear Son. And O most holy and loving Father, send your purifying grace into our hearts, we beseech you, that we may henceforth live in your light and walk in your ways, according to the commandments of Jesus Christ our Lord.  ANNOUNCEMENTS – Week of 9/04/2022

  1. 1. On Tuesday morning at 8:00 – 8:45AM, Pastor Phelps will be leading Prayer for Revival here at the church (all are welcome to join in).
  2. 2. A Reminder - Beginning this month, September, we will no longer have the Early Worship Service.
  3. 3. Next Sunday, September 11th we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Beginning with that service, Living Hope will offer both Wine and Grape Juice during communion, using a “split tray” with the Wine in the outer ring of the tray and grape juice in the center of the tray.
  4. 4. Next Sunday, September 11th, we will be taking our Deacon’s Fund offering amd distributing our Food Bank resources.
  1. 5. Sunday School begins next Sunday, September 11th. This fall, Sunday School will begin at 9:30AM. (Note – Back to our “old” start time.)
  1. 6. The next Women’s Fellowship with be here at the church on Tuesday, September 13th at 6:30PM.
  1. 7. The new member class will begin on Tuesday, September 13that 7:00PM. This seven-session church membership study will be offered to anyone interested in becoming a member of Living Hope or just finding out more about church membership. Please let Pastor Phelps know if you are interested in being a part of this group.
  1. 8. The Wednesday Evening Activities will begin on Wednesday, September 14th at 7:00PM.
  1. 9. The Men’s Breakfast will resume on Saturday, September 17th at 8:30AM. This fall we will be using a Paul Tripp video series entitled “Men of Faith”. We encourage ALL men of the church to attend. A continental breakfast will be served.
