#4 – Is the Holy Spirit Invited to Your Baptism?

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the multifaceted blessing promised by God the Father and Purchased and Poured Out by by God the Son for Every Christian and depicted in the sacrament of Water Baptism

  1. We Are Not Baptized By the Holy Spirt But Baptized By Christ With the Holy Spirit

               Matthew 3:11

               John 1:33-34

               Acts 11:15-16  15

This may seem a trifle but...

  1. Because Holy Spirt Was Present at Jesus” Baptism, We Know He Will Be

     Present at Our Baptism

               Luke 3:21-22

We must avoid the “Ora” syndrome…

We are not promised this but…

  1. When we are baptized we acknowledge, honor, commit to and evoke the Holy

Spirit as well as the Father and Son.

               Matthew 28:19

                              John 15:26

                              John 16:13-14

                So when you do you:

                               Acknowledging his

Commit to worshipping and serving Him as

                              Evoke Him in proper prayer…..

  1. We Are All baptized With Water To Remind Us of the Holy Spirit’s Ministry of

    Spiritual Refreshing

Water Baptism obviously is a sign on our cleaning from sin by the Blood….

               1 Corinthians 12:13

               John 7:37-38

               Revelation 22:17
