Pastor Anthony C. Phelps:
Pastor Phelps grew up in Rhode Island and started his ministry at Living Hope in November 2019. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in Psychology and worked in the insurance industry for ten years. After he started to attend a Reformed church, God called him to pastoral ministry and he received his M. Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts in 2003. He planted a PCA church in Wakefield, RI where he served for eleven years. In 2015, he and his family moved to Colorado, where he pastored a church in the United Reformed Church in North America (URCNA) federation. Here in the Lehigh Valley, he desires, by God's grace, to lead us as we "worship the God who gives us Living Hope; grow in the knowledge of our Living Hope; and win the hopeless to this Living Hope." Tony is married to Donna, his college sweetheart, and they have three children. Emily is working (after college) and Ben is a seminary student. David is at home, where he is home schooled. Pastor Phelps serves on the Session (Board of Elders) of Living Hope as a Teaching Elder.
Associate Pastor Christian Repp:
Pastor Christian Repp is Associate Pastor of Living Hope with the charge to serve as the organizing pastor of the Park Church (Plumsteadville, PA) church plant under Living Hope's oversight. Christian serves on the Living Hope session along with Pastor Phelps and the ruling elders.
Christian and his wife Hanna are both originally from the Black Forest area of southwest Germany. They were in the San Diego (CA) area from 2019-2023 for his seminary studies at Westminster Seminary California, Escondido, CA and a year-long internship at another OPC congregation. Christian loves playing and watching soccer when he is not serving the church or his family. Hanna and Christian have 4 young children and live in the Doylestown, PA area.
Director of Music - Beth Barshinger:
Beth graduated from Philadelphia College of the Bible (now Cairn University) with a degree in Music and Worship and specialized in French Horn. She oversees all the music ministries of the church.
Church Administrator - Katie Maloney:
Katie is a homemaker and homeschool mom in Oley, PA. She is married to Mark and they have one son, Luke. They have been congregant members since 2019 and attending since 2016. Katie enjoys creating things with her sewing machine or crochet needles in her free time and loves spending time on a warm, sunny beach! She is responsible for all administrative tasks for Living Hope, including gathering announcements, keeping the prayer list and preparing the bulletins.
Custodial Care - Jean Morris: Jean serves our church by cleaning and organizing our church weekly. Jean also purchases all our needed supplies on a timely basis and maintains our cleaning equipment.
